As Founder and President of EcoMedia℠, Paul Polizzotto created and oversees the EducationAd℠, WellnessAd℠ and EcoAd® programs. These unique initiatives enable advertisers to leverage a portion of their ad spends to help fund critical nonprofits around the world. Paul and his team at EcoMedia have earned the US Conference of Mayors Award for Excellence in Public Private Partnerships and have been recognized with back-to-back Edison Awards for Social Innovation and Social Impact. EcoMedia was acquired by CBS in 2010 and has expanded upon its mission each year since.
For Paul, Givewith is the ultimate realization of his founding vision for EcoMedia: To harness the power of corporate ad budgets to support the work of the world's most effective nonprofits. He believes Givewith is a new paradigm in giving. It meets nonprofits' needs for sustainable funding and brands' needs to stand out in a saturated media environment—while making it easy for people to give back.
In 2016, Paul was named Social Good Leader of the Year by Cynopsis Media and recognized as one of “America’s 25 Most Influential Philanthropy and Social Innovation Experts” by Philanthropy Media. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the Starlight Children’s Foundation’s “General H. Norman Schwarzkopf Leadership Award,” the EPA’s “Environmental Hero” recognition, Coastal Living Magazine’s “Leadership Award”, and the Santa Monica Baykeeper’s and the Waterkeeper Alliance’s “Keeper Award.” He was also named a Public-Private Visionary by Vanity Fair magazine.
A frequent guest lecturer at business schools across the country, Paul is also a Senior Fellow at USC’s Marshall School of Business and an inaugural member of the Board of Advisors for the Brittingham Social Enterprise Lab.
